The Power of This Moment

The channeled wisdom presented here is an offering. Each meditation is written exactly as it is given to me. May you find truth, healing, or help in their energy. As always, follow your heart.

You’re starting a new day with a new perspective—one based on freshness, on new life. It’s a perspective that’s always possible, that is coincident with the morning in the human experience because of circadian rhythms and a fresh cycle of the sun coming up, reminding you of hope and promise, reminding you that you will always have what you need and be taken care of.

The morning time has always been a time for reflection and gathering your thoughts and your energy for the day—of aligning yourself, of becoming focused in your awareness on your mission or your purpose.

But when we say mission, don’t take it so seriously. There is no way to fail your mission. There is no way to not be in purpose or in service, if you just be. There are distractions, of course, but your purpose is found in every ordinary moment of your life. Your purpose need not be found in something grandiose. It’s not measured in giant, seminal life events, like you think it is. It’s actually measured in day-to-day moments. It’s measured in presence—being with what your life hands you.

We will help guide you—your intuition, your angels, your guides, God, the universe, fate, your fellow travelers there—all will help create the experiences that you crave. You are co-creating that with us. It’s not that we do it all for you. You pick and you choose. You steer in your direction.

And this gives you the opportunity to put yourself in the presence of whatever moment, or people, or experiences, you choose for your soul purpose, your development. So each moment contains that potential.

Some moments may feel more important than others, more like turning points, or divisions, or forks in the road, and that may be true in a way, but you can’t head down the wrong fork in a road. If you choose a fork that later seems incorrect, you will be presented with a new fork and a way to turn that back around. So in that light, that prior decision was not incorrect, because you needed more information, you needed more experience to be able to choose that new direction, that new fork in the road.

There are always course corrections and bumper lanes, so to speak. It’s not that you don’t have freedom, or free will, or the ability to choose, because you do. But you can’t really choose wrongly, because in that choice, there is something that you still need in order to choose the opposite or even just a different direction.

So you see this new perspective, this morning, this new life, because you feel you’re embarking on a new chapter, and, in a way, that is true. But in a way it isn’t. This is just a continuation of one long chapter of your life, and each moment no [more] important than the next.

If you really wring the most from each moment and savor each moment, you’ll always be happy, and in joy, and in peace, and in trust, and in faith. You won’t wish you were somewhere else.

You won’t look back on something you did and wish you did it differently. You will understand the perfectness of everything. Because the past was something you needed to get to the present, and the present is something you need to get to the future.

You can’t really get to the future. You can only be in the present moment at a later time, which is, of course, a construct that humans use to study, to move things along, so to speak. It’s really just a framework for learning there—one that makes evolution and biological survival possible, one that makes the occupation of physical space possible, because occupying the same physical space at the same time is an impossibility in the rules of physical space.

So time is a divider. It is another realm, or space, or orientation, or dimension in order to exist. Essentially, it creates more space, if you will. It creates a larger vehicle or container for existence there. But it’s not necessary other than that. And it doesn’t exist outside of physical reality—outside physical reality is timeless.

So as you move through time and as you move through space, these are orientation points to run into other spirits or beings, to have interactions, energetic exchanges, and learn new information. Now the point of this new information is not to become a computer, or a storage vehicle for dots of information; it is to expand in love. It is to grow in your capacity for peace and love—to be a body for love, an ocean for love, a river, a current of love.

Truly, love is a current because it flows. It’s directional. Now it flows in all directions, though with your awareness, you can concentrate the current. But it’s impossible for you to love outward without loving inward, which is why inward love, or love of the self, is a prerequisite for outward love, or loving others.

Others are a part of the Self, and that is why loving others is a pathway to unity. So, recognizing your love for yourself will help you recognize your love for others. Recognizing your love for others will help you recognize their unity with you, which again turns back to love for the self. Loving God is loving the self. Loving the self is loving God.

It doesn’t mean that all those experiences are moot, or that you shouldn’t seek new experiences. The nature of radical self-love or any self-expanding love is to find new crevices or corners within itself to explore and expand.

And there we come back to the morning. Take this fresh new perspective, this fresh take on life, this recharge, which you will always get if you ask for this new surge of source energy, and create with it. Do what it’s meant to do—become a creation. Create in yourself through love and peace, and then it will manifest in your physical reality.

But find it in each moment. Find it in the moment in front of yourself. Don’t be in the perfect moment for creating love and peace and be thinking about what you really want to do six months from now, and how you’re looking forward so much to this one seminal event that will change your life, when the life-changing event is right here in your hands. That would be a waste. That would be a non-recognition of the power of what you are holding right here and right now.

That magic is at your fingertips at any moment. You should go and seize it right now. Amen.
